MMID Droitwich purchased a hanger near their site to store all their extra trolleys they need around Christmas time. They came to us for solutions to maximise the amount of trolleys they could get in this space. At first we fabricated and installed bespoke box section barriers, powder coated safety yellow, to the perimeter to form a walkway all around. Soon after they approached us for a mezzanine to double the floorspace they had in this facility. We installed a full mezzanine, with stress loads suited to the trolleys, with a staircase, sliding gate and handrail. We also laid safety polyflor for health a safety reasons when the trolleys have been in the rain, and also to stop water from damaging the chipboard. Finally, we installed a full lighting system on 4No individual PIR’s, using non- corrosive battens. This project has solved the trolley storage problem them originally had.
