After a lot of planning with the projects team at Muller, we have just completed the dairy canteen refurb in Manchester earlier than our deadline. With the number of staff growing at Muller, they needed a bigger space to accommodate for more people, and also create a space where people enjoy spending time. To achieve this, we knocked through into an office that wasn’t in use after identifying the wall wasn’t load bearing. To give this space the look they wanted to achieve, we boxed in the lockers, fridges, vending machines, and a media wall around the TV in composite slats for the hardwearing feature. Continuing we then installed: a full new suspended ceiling and lighting system, safety vinyl flooring capped and coved to create a watertight space, a new kitchen space, fully decorated, replaced all electrical hardware and conduit and installed a steel door on the entrance corridor. Once we had the empty shell to our standard, we then installed all the furniture: 1200mm/ 600mm circular tables, chairs, contract sofas, clear door lockers, polar fridges and decorative pieces. Overall, this has turned out looking unreal and everyone involved couldn’t be happier.
